The fourth tabletop happening of 5×7 UNDERGROUND occurred on Friday, October 26th, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. “Reflection” was the fourth theme and chosen by member, Lauren Latene-Valis, who also added an additional textual element stipulation. All members welcomed the challenge and added a textual element to their work.
5×7 UNDERGROUND met at Greenmount Station in Hampstead, Maryland. The group sat in the back dining area away from the bar crowd. Plenty of room to display the art, but not a lot of ambience. Excellent beer selection though! Artists in attendance included: Jeff Sharp, Mary Beth Francis, Jim Roberts, Lauren Latané-Valis and Peter Towson.
After each artist presented their work in rotation, the work was displayed for a gallery photograph. Each work was also photographed individually and are displayed in separate post in the image isolation gallery. Mary Beth Francis presented an additional work for this theme. We hope you enjoy the art and will visit us again.
